Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of data security and privacy risks on Muslim customers' trust in using BYOD by BSI BSI in Jember Regency. This research is motivated by the importance of customer trust in digital security systems. This study uses an explanatory research type (explanatory research) with a quantitative approach. The population in this study is Muslim customers in using BYOD by BSI in Jember Regency, with sample determination using a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 96 respondents. The type of data used comes from primary data. The data analysis method used Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS 4 program. The results of this study indicate that data security and privacy risks have a positive and significant effect on Muslim customers' trust in using BYOND by BSI with a p-value <0.05, t-statistics >1.64, and positive path coefficients.
