Digital Islamic Philanthropy in Building Sustainable Humanitarian Solidarity

The development of social media and digital platforms has changed the way Muslims carry out philanthropic practices, especially alms and infaq. Donations that were previously carried out directly are now increasingly distributed through digital applications, social media, and crowdfunding platforms that are able to expand the reach of humanitarian solidarity more quickly and widely. On the other hand, this development also presents ethical challenges, especially related to sincerity, transparency, accountability, and protection of the dignity of aid recipients. This research aims to analyze digital Islamic philanthropy as part of Islamic social finance as well as look at its role in building sustainable humanitarian solidarity. The research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach through the study of the Qur'an, hadith, and various literature on digital philanthropy and Islamic social finance. The results of the study show that digital Islamic philanthropy not only functions as a means of individual worship, but also develops into a socio-economic instrument that can strengthen public participation, accelerate humanitarian responses, and support sustainable social development. This study also found that the sustainability of digital philanthropy is greatly influenced by trustworthy, transparent, and community-oriented management. The novelty of this research lies in the offer of a sustainable digital Islamic philanthropic concept that integrates Qur'anic values with Islamic social finance practices in the digital age.
