Islamic Banking, Competitiveness, Strategic Management, Digital transformationAbstract
This study aims to analyze strategic management approaches required to enhance the competitiveness of Islamic banking in Indonesia in the digital era. A qualitative descriptive approach is employed through library research, using accredited academic journals, financial industry reports, and official regulatory publications from the last five years. The findings indicate that digital transformation is the primary determinant of competitiveness, contributing to improved operational efficiency, service quality, and market expansion. Furthermore, Sharia-based product innovation, strategic collaboration with fintech, enhancement of Islamic financial literacy, strengthening of human resources, and the implementation of sound Sharia corporate governance significantly support competitive advantage. This study concludes that Islamic banking strategic management must be holistic, adaptive, and integrated with digital technological developments to achieve sustainable competitiveness in the modern financial industry.
