This study examines the role of Islamic law in establishing a government system founded on integrity as a strategy for preventing corruption in Indonesia. Corruption is conceptualized not only as a violation of statutory law but also as a breach of public ethics that undermines trust, justice, honesty, the public good, and the protection of public assets. The research adopts a normative legal methodology, incorporating legislative, conceptual, and limited comparative approaches. Data sources include primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials, gathered through a literature review of anti-corruption regulations, fiqh siyasah literature, and maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah. The findings demonstrate that Islamic law can enhance governance through three primary mechanisms: internalizing ethics among public officials, strengthening oversight mechanisms, and establishing an accountability system oriented toward the public interest. The research confirms that integrating Islamic legal values with good governance principles contributes to corruption prevention, provided that institutions are transparent, accountable, and consistent in law enforcement.
