Journal of Economics, Business, and Contemporary Tourism (EKOSISTEM) is published four times a year, in January, April, July, and October. This journal serves as a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners who are interested in advancing scientific knowledge and engaging in discussions on ideas, issues, and contemporary challenges in the fields of economics, business, and tourism. The journal’s scope includes conceptual, empirical, and applied studies, both in conventional contexts and those based on Sharia and sustainability values. EKOSISTEM is committed to promoting research that contributes to the development of an inclusive, innovative, and ethical economic ecosystem, supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Current Issue
Journal of Economics, Business, and Contemporary Tourism (EKOSISTEM) is committed to promoting research that contributes to the development of an inclusive, innovative, and ethical economic ecosystem, while supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The journal is published quarterly, in January, April, July, and October.
In Volume 1 Issue 1 (January, 2026), EKOSISTEM published 10 articles authored by 35 contributors from several countries, including Indonesia, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Yemen, and Turkey. This issue demonstrates the journal’s commitment to scholarly diversity through collaboration among authors from various national and international higher education institutions.
In Indonesia, the contributing authors are affiliated with State Islamic Institute of Bone, South Sulawesi, Jurai Siwo State Islamic University Lampung, Indonesia University of Education, State University of Jakarta, State University of Medan, Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya, State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga, Yogyakarta, and South Kalimantan Islamic University of Sheikh Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjari, Banjarmasin.
International contributions come from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt, Tashkent State University of Economics, Uzbekistan, Al-Ahgaff University, Hadhramaut, Yemen, and Bartın Üniversitesi, Turkey. This wide range of institutional affiliations highlights EKOSISTEM’s role in promoting international academic dialogue and knowledge exchange.
