Dampak Ekonomi dan Inovasi Sosial dalam Pengembangan Pariwisata Desa Wisata Umbul Sidomulyo

This study aims to analyze the economic impact of the development of the Umbul Sidomulyo Tourism Village on the well-being of the community in Tirtomartani Village, focusing on the Community-Based Tourism (CBT) approach and collaborative governance. The research highlights changes in residents’ income, the opening of new business opportunities, and the active participation of the community in tourism management. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the tourism development has significantly increased the income of residents in RT 08, Brintikan Hamlet, where many have shifted from being laborers to tourism entrepreneurs and various locally-based businesses have emerged. Fifty-three families are directly involved in managing tourism stalls, demonstrating a community-based management model. Collaborative governance between the community, village government, and local businesses has been essential in planning, implementation, and monitoring. Despite these successes, challenges remain, particularly in ensuring equitable distribution of economic benefits and the sustainability of local businesses, making the strengthening of local institutions, innovation, and sustainable governance crucial for ensuring widespread and equitable economic benefits.
