The Role of Edupreneurship in Building Students’ Literacy and Social Character: A Literature Review

The cultivation of education-based entrepreneurial spirit (edupreneurship) has become increasingly urgent amid the complexity of 21st-century challenges; however, studies that comprehensively map its influence on students' literacy and social character remain scarce. This article aims to analyze and synthesize the role of edupreneurship in developing literacy dimensions and shaping students' social character based on existing literature. The study employed a literature review approach, examining 16 scientific articles published between 2021 and 2026. The synthesis indicates that the implementation of edupreneurship consistently enhances multiple literacy dimensions among students, including financial literacy, digital literacy, and entrepreneurial literacy, while simultaneously fostering social character traits such as cooperation, independence, and social responsibility through direct practice-based learning. These findings imply that the edupreneurship model is strategically feasible for integration into school curricula as a sustainable instrument for strengthening national character.
