CERDAS (Journal of Community Empowerment, Research, Development, and Social Action) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes research, innovation, and community service practices demonstrating real impact and community empowerment. The journal encourages scientific quality, social relevance, and multidisciplinary innovation to address community challenges at local and national levels. CERDAS is published four times a year, in February, May, August, and November, and is committed to disseminating high-quality scholarly work that contributes to sustainable community development and social transformation.

In Volume 1 Issue 1 (February, 2026), CERDAS published 10 articles authored by 40 contributors from several higher education institutions in Indonesia. This issue demonstrates the journal’s commitment to academic collaboration and knowledge exchange among scholars from various institutions.

The contributing authors are affiliated with several universities, including State University of Makassar, Jurai Siwo State Islamic University Lampung, Prof. Dr. Hafiz MPH University, Cianjur, State Islamic University of North Sumatra, State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Nahdlatul Ulama University of Lampung, and Nahdlatul Ulama Islamic Institute of Tuban, East Java, Indonesia. The diversity of institutional affiliations highlights CERDAS’s role in promoting collaboration, community-based research, and the dissemination of knowledge to support community empowerment and social development.
